Freegle is a free online community that helps local people give away unwanted items and find things they need. The Chelmsford Freegle group already has almost 14,000 members, all helping to keep useful items in circulation rather than throwing them away.

Why is Freegle important?

In a world where so many new products are made every day, giving pre-loved items a second life is one of the simplest ways to reduce waste and make better use of the resources we already have. Reusing items helps reduce demand for new products, saves valuable materials and energy, and supports a more circular economy.
