Litter is no small problem… and students from Trinity St Mary’s Primary School are eager to protect the habitat of ‘a local fox and squirrels’ that are often seen on Scholar’s Walk in South Woodham Ferrers. Today, we cleaned up plastic bottles, confectionary wrappers and broken glass (amongst other littered items) to keep a very popular walkway into the town centre, clean, tidy and safe for humans and wildlife too.
Our large litter sculptures shall be sited at Trinity St Marys Primary School for the next three weeks, before they are moved to All Saints’ Church in Springfield in time for the ‘Love Your Springfield’ Eco Event on Saturday 25th May.
