Chelmsford Civic Society presents.. An Evening with Hugh Pym – The Marconi Scandal.

On 2nd July, 1913 David Lloyd George, Chancellor of the Exchequer, addressed a luncheon meeting at the National Liberal Club regarding the scandal that involved himself and other ministers around Marconi. One hundred and eight years later, to the day, Hugh Pym (BBC Health Editor) and Malcolm Noble (Chairman of Chelmsford Civic Society) will be In Conversation’ on this topic, in Chelmsford, Essex.

The event will be chaired by The Very Reverend Nicholas Henshall, Dean of Chelmsford.
