An exciting opportunity to be a part of the local community energy movement!
Sustainable Danbury is on the cusp of launching transformative community energy projects, and are looking for two passionate voluntary board members to help lead the charge!
As part of a dynamic co-operative initiative, you’ll work alongside key infrastructure partners – including the grid, distribution networks, and local authorities – to create sustainable energy solutions that benefit our community.
Why get involved?
Community energy projects are a powerful way to tackle some of the most pressing challenges our area faces: energy insecurity, rising fuel costs, carbon emissions, job shortages, and the need for greater local empowerment.
Sustainable Danbury are seeking individuals with skills in areas such as project management, data analysis, financial oversight, engineering, legal affairs, governance, and communications. Your expertise will help unlock funding opportunities for these impactful projects, and best of all, local residents won’t have to pay for the implementation.
