Love Your Parish Day, is a day where parish councils within the borough of Chelmsford can book Chelmsford City Council’s Street Care Team to visit and pay special attention to their neighbourhood. The Parish Council submits a ‘to-do list’ of tasks they desire to be completed. These tasks include:
- Litter Picking
- Footpath Sweeping
- Road Sweeping
- Removal of vegetation/weeds
- Graffiti Removal
Yesterday, our Street Care Team visited the parish of Rettendon and carried out road & footpaths sweeping, litter picking and removed weeds and vegetation. Here are some action shots of our fantastic team tidying up Main Road. Over the coming weeks, further Love Your Parish Days will be taking place at the parishes of Stock, Little Baddow and Great Waltham.
