Frankland Fields

Frankland Fields Local Nature Reserve is a green living space close to South Woodham Ferrers. The open grassland area has wooded pockets that run down to Fenn Creek, where you can enjoy views across to the River Crouch and beyond. The area is popular with dog walkers and bird watchers alike and is rich in biodiversity. It’s a quiet place to explore and enjoy, with links to coastal walks, Marsh Farm Animal Adventure Park and more.

Volunteering sessions, run by the Parks Volunteer Leader take place once a month.
