Love Your Chelmsford and Sustainable Danbury are looking for 10 homes to visit in the Danbury area this February 2025 with a thermal imaging camera.
Once you have signed up, a member of Sustainable Danbury, Community Benefit Society will visit your home to take a variety of pictures which could be around your windows, doors and any areas where you may be concerned with draughts. The images can help you spot where heat is escaping from your home. Often you can fix this simply by improving insulation at that place. This could reduce your heating bills and your carbon footprint.
Once your house has been visited, the pictures will be sent to your email with some post-visit information on retrofitting your home and what you may need to consider next. We will also ask you for some feedback via an online form.
Please email your interest to sustainabledanbury@gmail.com by Friday 24 January 2025 with a quick summary on house type, number of bedrooms and bathrooms. Only 10 properties will be visited in this trial. You will receive an email of confirmation and workable dates, so please respond promptly to take part!
