The Carbon Cutting Essex app helps us learn more about our carbon footprint through a range of fun activities and quizzes. The app also rewards positive environmental action with points, which can then be used to enter prize draws, win vouchers of up to £250 or they can be donated to a good cause.
This month’s content theme for the app focuses on food and everything which comes along with it such as transport and packaging. From visiting refill stores to swapping meat and dairy consumption for more plant-based foods or shopping locally, there are many small daily actions which we can all take to reduce the carbon footprint from food.
