Tower Gardens Gardener
Greetings from Tower Gardens and Arboretum. Tucked in the corner of Admirals Park, off Roxwell Road is Tower Gardens, a pleasure garden full of herbaceous beds, specimen trees, a stone rotunda, and a bug hotel. This time of year, the gardens are alive with colour, including cottage planting in full bloom, ornamental grasses swishing in the breeze and Begonia Whoppers in the seasonal bedding.
Some of our personal favourites of the specimen trees are the Carolina silverbell, the Tulip tree and one of our most recent additions is the Indian Bean tree (see image); it has gorgeous heart shaped leaves, spotted white flowers in the summer, followed by long seed pods.
Come and enjoy this great space, here for everyone to enjoy, locals and distant relatives alike.
