Forest School
Forest School is a great way to support a child’s holistic development; building resilience, developing confidence, promoting independence and encouraging creativity.
These sessions take place in a fenced-off, wooded area of Hylands Park and provide the perfect setting to enjoy being in nature, learning about our environment, having fun in the great outdoors and making new friends along the way. Whether your little ones enjoy making mud pies, creating natural crafts, playing games or sitting around the campfire, there is something for everyone. It’s one of the top outdoor things to do in Chelmsford.
Our award-winning Forest School (Woodlands Awards 2019) is run by Justine Page from Green Earth Learning. The stay and play under-fives sessions run every Thursday during term time, throughout the year – in all weathers! Additional sessions run in the holidays for children up to seven. You can find out more about the Forest School ethos at www.greenearthlearning.co.uk and if you’d like your child to come and enjoy one of our fabulous Hylands Park sessions, you will need to book in advance, so please check www.bookwhen.com/GreenEarthLearning for availability.
We hope to see you there for some muddy fun!
