A team from Bunzl in Bishop Stortford recently came out on a team building exercise to help plant trees in Compass Gardens. Here’s what they had to say…
“We have thoroughly enjoyed working with the Chelmsford City Council Parks Volunteers, as we get a chance to positively impact the local environment in which we work and use for leisure. The campaign has allowed us to meet new people and develop new skills, so it can feel very rewarding after completing a session as you get a new sense of accomplishment . The organisers are very friendly and easy to work with and allowed for the sessions to be a very pleasurable experience. I’d highly recommend the volunteering programme to anyone, especially other businesses who are looking to get involved as it can be great for team building.”
